What is Polymathematics? It is my term for pursuing multiple interests in parallel, and the fly wheel of benefits it can bring about. All of us are interested in more than one thing, and it is that combination that makes us unique. This uniqueness makes us more interesting, and creates our personal unfair advantage: the edge we alone have due to the precise combination of skills and interests we possess. Yet in many places within our culture, we are incentivized to specialize and choose one of our many interests alone. Whether that is a degree to study, a career choice, a personal brand, or simply the way we describe “what we do” at parties or to an inquisitive relative. Polymathematics is my reminder to myself to resist that cultural force. This site is where I write about those varying (though often complimentary and overlapping) interests and the tradeoffs pursuing them all involves.

In 2019, I graduated with a degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering. I currently work as an engineering manager for a FinTech startup. I previously co-founded a design and engineering company called Meanwhile. My current focus is my project Printernet and my writing. I like to spend free time drinking coffee, making music, going to the movies, working on random side projects, writing, and playing chess.

This site is primarily for “thinking out loud” but occasionally something more comes out of a piece of my writing. My essay Digital Infants, which first appeared here as a blog post, was accepted for publication in the Summer 2019 issue of The Broken City Magazine. My short story The Crack in the Sidewalk was recently published in the Spring 2023 issue of Door is a Jar Magazine, and is available in Barnes & Nobel + Books-A-Million stores nationwide.
